About the project

This website is all about the history of Tremarchog (St. Nicholas) over the last one hundred and fifty years.

I attend Ysgol Croesgoch and in year six we all do a history project with the help of the Croesgoch Heritage Society. I chose to look at Tremarchog as this is my home village.

The website tells you what I have found out about the buildings, the people, the businesses, the community and the changes over time. I am very grateful for the support from the members of the community who have provided information, photographs, memories and have even made themselves available  for interviews. Other information has come from the County Records Office, Fishguard Library, the internet, ‘Schoolins Log’ by Llewelyn Jones and my own photographs.

I would like this to become a community project and hope people will add their comments and memories. I also intend for the website to be bi-lingual – any help with this is gratefully accepted.
